The current reference temperature compensation circuit of LOG100 is shown in the figure. If I2=IREF is set to a constant and IREF is the reference current, the output voltage is VOUT=KlogI1/IREF and IREF=6V/RREF. The figure shows the current source circuit of the external circuit which produces IREF. The circuit uses 6V zipper regulator 1N834 in reverse series with triode 2N2905 emitter junction to compensate for the opposite temperature characteristics to improve the temperature stability of the output reference current IREF.
